Eboshi
The Eboshi Noodle Bar is always crowded for dinner whenever we've gone past this place, so we had to try it today for lunch. It was good, but not all that outstanding. The noodles were a bit over-cooked, but not too bad. The soup was tasty but I could detect a bit of MSG in the broth. The shared parking lot is terrible, as there are a few other Japanese restaurants in this tiny corner strip mall, as well as a Karate school and some other businesses.

In Other News
In other news, Matthew brought home his first report from his new school (he moved up to middle school this year!) and for the first time ever, he made the honor role, with 5 A's and 2 B's! Wow, what a shocker! The thing is, he doesn't really try all that hard and I just know that he could get straight A's if he tried just a little bit harder. Anyways, I promised him that when he brought home good grades, that I would get him something nice, so we did a bit of shopping (but didn't buy anything) and then came home and ordered him a new basketball on-line (much cheaper than in the stores). Good job!
